Sabra Hummus - An Awesome Snack Option for So Many Food Allergy Families

In an attempt to eat healthier at home and on the road, I have found hummus helps increase my vegetable intake tremendously! It is easily spooned into containers for me to pack into lunches or carry on the road while I travel.  They are kosher, pareve and glutenfree. You will also see there is no dairy, eggs or nuts in their ingredient list, always a bonus for our needs.  Those with a soy allergy may also be able to try this as it contains soybean oil NOT the soy protein itself.  Check this out with your doctor.

About a month ago I was lucky enough to receive some samples of Enjoy Life's Baking Mixes for sampling.  Now that school is back into full swing for us, I am having fun experimenting with these products.  This is my busiest time of year because I am back in our local classrooms offering allergy education classes.  For my kids, I always bring in treats so their friends can see how TASTY allergy~friendly products can be.  Besides having three nut-free kids, there were also wheat-free and gluten-free restrictions in the class.

Agave Sweetened, Dairy free Frozen Desserts from So Delicious

Finding a dairy-free, egg-free, nut-free dessert is one of my favorite finds.  Add in that they are soy-free, Certified gluten-free, parve and fat free, and many more of you can enjoy this delicious frozen dessert!

I found them at one of our local discount grocery stores, Grocery Outlet, at about half their regular price.  I never know when or what flavor I will find here, so I always grab several packages.

Allergy~Friendly Jelly Belly Products Make Our Valentines Day WONDERFUL!

I was thrilled to come across some peanut-free, gluten-free fun candies for Valentines Day, particularly those which are made in a PEANUT-FREE factory.  It does appear they are both also milk-free and egg-free, but the artificial flavoring listing may cause concern for some.

There I was perusing the aisles at Marshalls and BAM... right before my very eyes were Jelly Belly Jelly Beans and Cupid Corn!  My day couldn't have gotten any better!

Hooray! Hooray for Tofuttis MILK-FREE Dessert Bars

Besides enjoying their July 4th Allergy~Friendly Crepes, my kids enjoyed their first dairy-free vanilla dipped ice creams coated with dark chocolate crispy rice crunchies.  I know what you're probably wondering.  Milk-free?  Soy ice cream?  NO SUGAR added?  And you'll see according to their ingredient list, they are also egg-free and nut-free.  Can these ice cream bars really have any taste?

As usual, Tofuttis did it again.  I think these bars are delicious and had to sneak two myself.  Good thing my kids weren't looking.

When checking for this particular brand there appears to be some simply fruit FRUIT ROLLS  which are 90% fruit and others 95%.

With summer play dates and summer camps coming up for so many, it's wonderful having on hand snacks that our kids with food allergies AS WELL their friends without allergies can enjoy!

Just came across a new discovery I must share.  This dairy-free, pareve, certifed kosher, vegan custard-like dessert will be making a return to our home.  It is also gluten-free, has NO GMOs, has ALL natural ingredients and NO preservatives.  Do you also have nut and egg allergies?  This may also be an option for your home.
