Earth Balance Sweet Cinnamon Spread ~ What a delicious dairy-free choice!

A few weeks ago, I came across a new cooking and baking butter spread alternative.  Just on toast alone, it's great!  Can't wait to bake some cookies with it!  My kids LOVE this product, another great option from Earth Balance.

Got Milk? How about Coconut Milk? A Great Alternative for those with Dairy Allergies~

Looking for a dairy-free and lactose-free alternative for cow's milk?  Struggling to get enough calcium in your diet?  Or possibly, do you need a soy-free option or are you trying to limit the amount of soy intake in your home?  Coconut milk may be an alternative you and your family will enjoy.

Silk Pure Coconut, all natural coconutmilk, distributed by WhiteWave Food, Broomfield, Colorado.

It is also casein-free and gluten-free.  The taste takes a little getting used to, and it's quite a bit thicker than the soy milk we normally drink.  I was pleasantly surprised how much I and my kids enjoyed this option.

Wondering about nutritional value?  Consider this information taken from the package:

• 80 calories a cup VS. 120 in 2% dairy milk
• Just as much vitamin D as dairy milk
• 45% DV of Calcium VS. 30% DV of 2% milk VS. 10% DV So Delicious Original

Dairy & Egg-Free Pumpkin Spice Nog for the Holidays!

The holidays are back in full swing and I was thrilled to pick up a carton of one our favorite  family favorites.  We love this dairy-free and egg-free product which also contains no GMO's.

This product is a great alternative for those looking for options outside of the traditional egg-nog varieties available at this time of year.  Besides being free of many of the allergens we must avoid, I think it has a great taste.
