I was recently contacted by a company asking if I'd be interested in sampling their 'Gourmet Pumpkin Seeds'.  Realizing they met my family's allergy~friendly criteria - egg-free, dairy-free, peanut-free, tree-nut free, fish-free and shellfish-free, I jumped at the chance to try a new snack product we ALL would enjoy.  It doesn't hurt that they are also gluten-free, soy-free, Certified GMO-free and MSG-free... satisfying the desires of many of my fans.

I have been a fan of Rhodes Bread for years.  I was introduced to them when I was having difficulty finding a dairy-free bread my kids could safely eat.  This product was recommended to me by many of my fellow egg-free, nut-free, dairy-free moms.  Maybe you read my review of their rolls in 2012, Rhodes White Bread - A Dairy-Free Possibility for Your Home.  Their rolls and breads have become a staple in our home ever since. 

However, I have stayed away from eating their Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese frosting because I knew there was NO way my kids could eat them safely.  Here is the surprise I found.  My kids could eat the cinnamon rolls… just NOT the icing that was packaged on the side. And these are made in a facility which does NOT process any peanuts, tree nuts, meats, fish or shellfish.

They don't claim their products to be dairy-free, egg-free, or nut-free, but they don't list them on their ingredient list.  I know that 'NATURAL FLAVORS' will be of concern for some, so I suggest you do your personal follow up with the company to put your mind at ease, if needed.

Just bought a few bags to have handy for the week.  My youngest is the one with many food allergies and he can't get enough of these spicy chips!  Seems the spicier something is, the more he likes it!  

Annie Chun's Roasted Seaweed Snacks - A New Allergy-Friendly 'MUST HAVE' in Our Home

My husband and I love sushi, but due to our son's fish and shellfish allergy we keep most 'fishy' items out of the house.  This is one which is going TO STAY.  According to the ingredient list, this is an egg-free, nut-free, dairy-free, fish-free, shellfish-free and most importantly, nut-free product, even though the company doesn't promote these attribute.  Not seeing any soy either!

My kids don't just like this stuff, they LOVE it!  For Real!  As a matter of fact, they JUST asked for some to eat while watching their movie.  I know some of you may be turning your nose up at this snack, but I think you should try it out.  If my 7 and 9 year old inhale it, you just may too!

Enjoy Life makes us smile again!  Loving this NEW product which is FREE of the top 8 allergens AND free of gluten, casein, sesame and sulfites!

There's not much more to say... we took a bag of these to a family get together and everyone ENJOYed them.  Those WITH and WITHOUT allergies.  If you're not already a fan of Enjoy Life products, this one may pull you in.

Rising Moon Organics Garlic & Roasted Veggie Ravioli

Looking for a great tasting ravioli?  We need a variety which is dairy free (milk-free), egg-free, fish-free and nut-free.  I've already raved about my kid's high marks for their favorite Organic Spinach Florentine Ravioli.  This week we decided to try a different version of the same ravioli brand we have been eating for years.  

It doesn't state on the packaging that this product IS FREE of these items, but there is NO milk, egg, fish or nuts found in the ingredient list.

DAVID Sunflower Kernels - Loving this PEANUT/TREE NUT FREE snack!

Sunflower seeds.  Who doesn't love them?!  Finding them with no worries of peanut/tree-nut cross-contamination is another story!  I have only been able to find some at Trader Joes which we can eat safely.  Of course, there is NOT a Trader Joes here in Boise.  I have extended family fly them in when visiting from Philadephia or Phoenix.

SOL SunButter Smoothie!  YUM!!!

We have found SOL to be a delicious addition to our smoothies!  Add some frozen fruit or yogurt OR a few tablespoons of SunButter and your favorite dairy-free, soy-free ice cream!  I loved watching my kids asking for seconds of this delicious and nutritional beverage!

Sensible Portions Garden Veggie Chips - Another Allergy~Friendly Product from the Hain Celestial Group

I recently came across some veggie chips which everyone in my home enjoys.  According to the ingredient list, they are milk-free, egg-free, soy-free, and nut-free.  I am not as gluten-free savvy as I'd like to be, but from what I'm reading this also appears to be wheat/gluten-free.  I know if I've made a mistake here, one of you will let me know!  Of course, they are fish/shellfish-free, items I prefer NOT to find in my chips!
