Rhodes White Bread - A Dairy-Free Possibility for Your Home

Are you looking for a bread which is dairy-free?  The kosher labeling, pareve and OU, adds even more comfort for those of us needing to avoid milk products.

Here is a possibility which may work for your family.  We are a dairy-free household and have been eating Rhodes rolls for years.    A friend recently suggested I try their loaf bread since our preferred brand was no longer an option.

Smart Allergy~Friendly Education Review - Rhodes White Rolls

Serving freshly baked bread doesn't get any easier.  Place loaf in a loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray, let dough rise from 4 to 7 hours and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 20 - 25 minutes!  Absolutely delicious!

Rhodes VALUE PACK White Bread, manufactured and distributed by  Rhodes Bake-N-Serv, Salt Lake City, UT, 84125.

S.A.F.E. Product Review

I know that the statement above may be of concern for some, especially the fact that the facility also processes milk items.  Be sure to make your decisions based on your family's needs.

This bread has been a huge hit in our household.  We've eaten it with fresh soup, spaghetti and just simply slathered with jam and Earth Balance!

  1. Oh man, I'm nealry three weeks into dairy free (reluctantly) and I hadn't even gotten around to checking my bread yet. I was hoping I could just cut out the really visible sources and not be a label reader but it looks like that is not meant to be. Thanks for the recommendation.

  3. I have been searching for the a dairy-free bread and a friend told me about Rhodes white bread, and yes you're got it right! They have the best or should I say the excellent dairy-free bread in town! It suited my family's needs. My kids are really picky when it comes to dairy-free breads, but when I tried Rhodes' they liked it so much! Thank you so much Rhodes. Keep it up!
If you’ve got a milk allergy or sensitivity, our lactose free bread might just be the healthy solution for you. Many store-brand bread-makers are still using milk in their products to give it that wonderful texture. But we’ve got a recipe that makes a delicious loaf of bread with that same texture without using milk. lactose free bread
