Rising Moon Organics Garlic & Roasted Veggie Ravioli

Looking for a great tasting ravioli?  We need a variety which is dairy free (milk-free), egg-free, fish-free and nut-free.  I've already raved about my kid's high marks for their favorite Organic Spinach Florentine Ravioli.  This week we decided to try a different version of the same ravioli brand we have been eating for years.

It doesn't state on the packaging that this product IS FREE of these items, but there is NO milk, egg, fish or nuts found in the ingredient list.

ORGANIC Garlic and Roasted Veggies, distributed by Rising Moon Organics, 313 Iron Horse Way, Providence, RI.
Pasta ingredients includeORGANIC UNBLEACHED FLOUR, WATER, ORGANIC SEMOLINA FLOUR, ORGANIC TURMERIC

Filling ingredients:  ORGANIC SOY RICOTTA (ORGANIC SOY BEAN FIBER, WATER, ORGANIC CORN STARCH, ORGANIC VINEGAR, ORGANIC DRIED CANE SYRUP, SEA SALT), ORGANIC BUTTERNUT SQUASH, ORGANIC SPINACH, ORGANIC ROASTED GARLIC, ORGANIC CARROT, ORGANIC POTATO FLOUR, WATER, SEA SALT, ORGANIC ONION, ORGANIC SUN-DRIED TOMATO, ORGANIC BLACK PEPPER.

CONTAINS:  SOY, WHEAT

It also states on the packaging:  This product is made in a facility that processes milk, eggs, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, wheat and soybean.   CERTIFIED VEGAN and Certified Organic by Quality Assurance International (QAI), San Diego, CA, 92122.

This last statement is a newer statement which certainly can't be overlooked.  I have already contacted them and hope to find out more about their manufacturing processes and share this information.  I can personally state that we have been eating these ravioli for over 4 years with a multitude of food allergies and have had NO worries.

Their products can be hard to find depending on where you live.  Through their website you can purchase items on-line or try to find a store location nearby.

Beware, NOT all of the varieties are milk-free and/or egg free so be sure to read the labels carefully.

As an individual who can eat cheese ravioli, even I think this brand is pretty darn tasty.  There were only two of them inhaling these ravioli tonight and one package was NOT enough to satisfy their need for seconds!  Back to the local store I go~
