Idaho Harvest - A delicious EF, NF & DF Bread

Finding an over the counter egg-free, nut-free and dairy-free bread is not the easiest endeavor for those managing food allergies.  Finding one that everyone likes, those with and without food allergies, has been even more challenging.


For a beriod of time, Grandma Sycamores was taken off of our 'allergy-friendly' list, and I was on a quest to find a new alternative.  I think I have found one.

Idaho Harvest Oats and Whole Grains bread, produced by Alpicella Bakery, Boise, Idaho.
Ingredients include:  ORGANIC STONE GROUND WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR, ORGANIC UNBLEACHED WHITE FLOUR, WATER, ORGANIC SUGAR, ORGANIC CRACKED WHEAT, VITAL WHEAT GLUTEN, SALT, ORGANIC MOLASSES, YEAST, VINEGAR, RAISIN JUICE, ORGANIC OATS, ORGANIC CORN, ORGANIC BARLEY, ORGANIC RYE, ORGANIC TRITICALE, ORGANIC MILLET, ORGANIC BROWN RICE, ORGANIC SOYA BEANS, ASCORBIC ACID, ORGANIC WHEAT BRAN, NATURAL ENZYMES.

It also states on the packaging:  NO TRANS FAT, NO HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP

Alpicella breads can be found at most local grocery stores in the Treasure Valley.  Our 'allergy-friendly' household also enjoys their sourdough and ready to bake rolls & bread loaves.
