Sun Flour Mills - Gluten-Free Breads and Many Other Delights!

I recently had the enjoyment of trying some items from a local store that offers delicious allergy~friendly options.  Their motto is : "Where Taste Means Everything", and the few products I've tried are tasty!

Sun Flour Mills is their name.  All of their mixes are free of dairy, soy, wheat/gluten, nuts and eggs.  They distribute in and around Boise and Meridian, Idaho.  You can find local distributors by going to their website.  If, by chance, you happen to live outside this part of the country, don't worry!  Via their website you can browse through their products, recipes and shop on-line.

I tried their Pizza Crust and French Bread.  DELICIOUS!
Ingredients included:  Brown Rice Flour, Cornstarch, Tapioca Starch, Sugar, Salt, Xantham Gum and Yeast.

Another recommendation is the Pumpkin Bread.  My son LOVED this... he couldn't get enough samples and their were fortunately plenty to be had.
Ingredients include: White Sugar, Sweet White Sorghum, Corn Starch, White Rice Flour, Pumpkin Pie Spice, Xanthan Gum, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, and Salt.

Both of these items were moist - not dry and grainy like many gluten free breads.  And for someone who doesn't have to worry about eating gluten free, I would eat and serve these products any day!

You won't regret the time you take to find out more about their products.

  1. As I live in Australia, I have not tried any products by Sun Flour Mills, yet every review I hear about their products exceeds my expectations! I must try and get a hold of all these products over here too! Their chocolate cake 'award-winning' mix is something I might go and order right now!!

  2. We are not a gluten-free family and really enjoy these products. They have a great taste... not gritty like some gluten-free products. I don't think you'd regret trying them! Thanks for taking time to post. Daniella
