Dairy-free, Egg-free, Peanut and Tree Nut-Free Lemon-Lime Icing - Delicious!

I am not always the biggest fan of using confectioners sugar for icings.  Mainly, because I don't like the final taste.  Here's a dairy-free, egg-free, peanut-free, tree nut-free, recipe I will use over and over again because, in my opinion, it's delicious!  

S.A.F.E. Recipe

Lemon-Lime Icing
**dairy-free, egg-free, peanut-free, tree-nut free

1 lb box of Pure Cane Powdered Sugar
1/4 C of lemon
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/2 C of dairy-free margarine (Earth Balance, Nucoa)
1 lime rind

Beat with your electric mixer for 2 minutes.  Scrape the bowl to ensure all being well mixed.  Add a tsp of extra water at a time, to adjust to your preferred consistency.  Add in a tsp of finely grated lime rind.

Top off your cinnamon rolls, cupcakes or cake with this tasty icing!
