Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Nut Free Sugar Cookies ~ Sun Flour Mills Offers Great Products

If you don't live in Boise, you may not be familiar with this local distributor.  I first discovered their products at the Boise Food Allergy Walk in 2011.  Their pumpkin bread and french bread samples were delicious.  I NEVER would have guessed they were gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, nut-free and can be egg-free too!

I recently bought another box of their Gluten-Free Sugar Cookies and followed the basic instructions from the back of the box.  I made one small alteration, and I think it made the cookies delightful! I substituted 1/3 cup of Nutiva Coconut Oil from Costco for the shortening.  I rolled half of the batch in cinnamon sugar and left the other half plain.  They turned out Wonderful!
