Skeeter Snacks - TOTALLY NUT-FREE & NUT-FREE FACILITY

Last week I opened my door to find a package from Media Maison. Not exactly sure whom it was from, I couldn't wait to see what goody may be hiding inside.  I was thrilled to find a variety of NUT-FREE cookies to sample AND, would you believe, a personal note addressed to me?!

Skeeter Snacks Cookies Review from Smart Allergy~Friendly Education

It may sound silly, but I was touched that 'Lynette' took the time to WRITE something personal.  An art form which seems to be dying away these days.

And I digress... back to my original discussion~

This brand of cookie is totally NUT-FREE, and made in a COMPLETELY NUT-FREE FACILITY.  If you're managing nut allergies, you are going to be happy you have found Skeeters.

NO LIE... I devoured the package of Chocolate3, or better known as, "Chocolate Cubed" Skeeter.  I LOVE chocolate and these ARE tasty.  Just as the packaging states... they are totally 'Delicious'.

Chocolate 3 (Chocolate Cubed) Skeeter, distributed by Skeeter Snacks, LLC, Rogers, AR, 72758.

Ingredients include: ENRICHED FLOUR (WHEAT FLOUR, NIACIN, REDUCED IRON, THIAMIN MONONITRATE, RIBOFLAVIN, FOLIC ACID), BUTTER, CHOCOLATE CHIPS (SUGAR, CHOCOLATE LIQUOR, COCOA BUTTER, DEXTROSE, SOY LECITHIN [AN EMULSIFIER], VANILLIN, (AN ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR), BROWN SUGAR, SUGAR, CHOCOLATE CHUNKS (SUGAR,CHOCOLATE LIQUOR, DEXTROSE, COCOA BUTTER, SOY LECITHIN [AN EMULSIFIER], VANILLA EXTRACT), COCOA, (PROCESSED WITH ALKALI) CHOCOLATE LIQUOR, NON FAT DRY MILK, LEAVENING (SODIUM BICARBONATE, AMMONIUM BICARBONATE, BAKING POWDER), EGGS, SALT, VANILLA EXTRACT.  CONTAINS: WHEAT, MILK, EGG, SOY

For more information, contact:  Skeeter Snacks or Skeeter Contact Page

Their home page is filled with useful information, such as:  'Resources' (including books, webpages and support organizations), 'The Nut Problem' (Allergy Statistics & Info), and 'For Kids' (a fabulous page for kids).  Your kids will learn a lot more about 'Skeeter' and his peanut allergies~

The other varieties they have are Chocolate Chunk, Golden Oatmeal and Skeeterdoodle. Which one to try next?!

My only disappointment is that my kids can't enjoy these delights because of the milk and eggs in them.  Somehow, my husband and I will suffer through being the taste testers this time round~

Good luck finding them in your area!  Just hit the 'STORE LOCATOR' icon and type in your address.  We don't have them here locally in Boise, but I'm sure it won't be long.  Not if I have anything to say about it!

  1. I can't wait for the Skeeter cookies to hit Reno! I really need to just buy a case and dive in mouth first!

I like that my kids will have something to share with team mates, etc.

The question is: will we all become addicted?
