Hershey's Syrup... Looking for some allergy~friendly chocolate syrup?

Chocolate syrup... goes delightfully with SOOO many things!  Soy milk, hot chocolate (although I do prefer making this from scratch!), on top of banana splits and as the finishing touch on your daughter's favorite milk-free, Oreo/Vanilla Ice Cream Pie! Divine!!

Haven't found a chocolate syrup which is dairy/egg/nut-free?  I have!!  And with the many milk based products this company makes, you may be surprised.

Hershey's Genuine Chocolate Flavor Syrup, distributed by Hershey Company, Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Ingredients includeHIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, CORN SYRUP, WATER, COCOA, SUGAR, CONTAINS 2% OR LESS OF POTASSIUM SORBATE (PRESERVATIVE), SALT, MONO- AND DIGLYCERIDES, XANTHAN GUM, POLYSORBATE 60, VANILLIN, ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR.

For more information, contact:  1-800-468-1714 or http://www.hersheys.com/

Visit their website to learn more about their products, history, promotions, and recipes.  You can even learn more about Hershey Park, one of my personal favorite parks to visit as a kid.

Never did make it to the Chocolate World Attraction!  Not so sure it would be so safe with my two milk allergic kids... but maybe if they offered us some free samples of their Hershey's syrup?!

Now there's a possible idea for the future!  Free chocolate syrup for the dairy-allergic visitors!  I'll get to work on that one!!

    1. Cocoa is from cocoa beans, which aren't dairy. If you want to be 100% confident, call the company and see what they can tell you.
