Quaker Mix-Up Creations - Milk-free, Egg-free, Nut-free Breakfast Fun

My kids like oatmeal.  I'm proud to say their preference is my homemade version with frozen blueberries and brown sugar or honey.  However, on those busy school mornings when I'm running behind, they also enjoy the instant Quaker Oats brand.

I recently came across a new and creative alternative from Quaker.  It is milk-free, egg-free, nut-free and from what I read, soy-free too.  Your kids have the option of three different flavors to make their own oatmeal mix.

Quaker Mix-Up Creations, distributed by the Quaker Oats Company, P.O. Box 049003, Chicago, IL.

Ingredients include:

For more information, contactwww.quakeroats.com or www.quakeroats.com/products/oatmeal/quick-oats.aspx or 1-800-FOR-OATS

One thing unusual about their website is that they offer a link specific to 'Healthcare Professionals'.  From this link you can find information about subjects such as Weight Management, Diabetes Management and Fitness and Nutrition.

My kids have really enjoyed 'creating their oatmeal mix'.  I like the fact that it's easy, does include whole grains and it can be a lifesaver on a morning when I'm just not up to speed!

As always, enjoy finding new allergy~friendly discoveries and let me know of any you think I would like to hear about!
