Cascadian Farm Granola Bars - My daughter's favorite Almond Butter Crunchy Granola Bar

Hands down, the following granola bar is my daughter's favorite.  This is a delicious option for those who want something dairy and egg free.  If only it was nut-free too!

Ingredients include:  ROLLED OATS*, SUGAR*, SUNFLOWER OIL*, ALMOND BUTTER*, TAPIOCA SYRUP*, OAT FIBER*, RICE FLOUR*, INULIN (a source of fiber)*, SEA SALT, SOY LECITHIN*, BAKING SODA, NATURAL FLAVOR*, SALT.  MIXED TOCOPHEROLS ADDED TO RETAIN FRESHNESS.  CONTAINS ALMOND, SOY; MAY CONTAIN PEANUT AND PECAN INGREDIENTS.      *ORGANIC


It also states on the packaging:  5 Grams Fiber Per Serving (8G of fat per serving), 16 Grams Whole Grain, NO Hydrogenated Oils and NO Artificial Preservatives or Flavors.

The packaging includes a USDA ORGANIC certification logo and states the following:

I know that some individuals will be concerned about the 'natural flavor' ingredient. I just spoke with Cascadian Farms customer service and received the following information from a gentleman who has been with the company for 10 years. He informed me that Cascadian Farm works with FAAN and use their standards when labeling products. This means that if, by chance, there were any of the top 8 allergens or sesame in this product, even in the 'natural flavor', it would be stated on the packaging.

Cascadian Farm will also be sending me a copy of their allergen policy which I will gladly post as soon as I recieve it! 

Without having any food allergies myself, I am in total agreement with my daughter! And with the customer service and information I just received, I'll be buying more of Cascadian Farms products!!
