Suave Conditioner - BEWARE of lactic acid

Last week I picked up some Suave shampoo and conditioner.  It was on sale and I thought it smelled good.  I didn't take the time to read the ingredients.  My mistake... I should know better.

The conditioner contains LACTIC ACID.  The worst part is how I came to find out.  My boy, who never uses conditioner, was applying it to his sister's toy pony's mane to make it smoother.  I'm assuming it is the amount he got on his hands that made him react.  Full on screaming and crying because his hands were itching so badly!

This is my reminder to everyone that DAIRY products can be in the most unsuspecting places.

For those parents who are doing your best not to make mistakes, it happens!

Who would think.... milk in my conditioner??!!

  1. I hear ya! I have the same problem with wheat and soy products in my shampoos and conditioners. It's getting worse as manufacturers are replacing parabens with natural proteins.
